VILLAGE HEADMAN HANGS HIMSELF TO DEATH

The Deceased Village Headman Pasani

It was earliest hours of the day on 4 February, 2021 when reports reached the house of Village Headman Pasani that he was found dead in a tree.

People rushed the to the scene of incident and only to find him hanging on a tree using a rope. People rushed him Limbe Health Center where death was confirmed.

The Police was informed about the incident and did their job. 

The brief facts state that, the Village headman had no Peace according to his wife that he had a lot of debts that he owed many people. The debts were due to excessive beer drinking and was also borrowing the money and miss used it.

Many people were each and every hour coming home to collect their moneys and this gave the Village Headman Pasani to be living a hiding life that at the end it’s when he was found dead after hunged himself in the forest near Soche Mountain.

The deceased existed with one wife and seven children. He died at the age of 57 years.

The burial will take place at his Pasani village, Traditional Authority Kapeni in the District of Blantyre in Malawi where the deceased was also coming from.

Police has since advised people to share their critical issues with someone they can trust or report to police any of their grievances but not resolving by taking their own lives.

Many people from the area have been left in shock because they considered the gone Chief lead examplary life and never thought that he could resort in this way. 

Other commentators have complained to the Leaders that they should be good examples and not like what the Chief Pasani did.
