It has not been a long time since the late President John Magufuli died and was later replaced by his Right Honourable Vice president Madam Samia Suluhu.
About two weeks in office madam has promised many things and she has already started acting on them.
The most notable first action she took was to suspend and arrest the Chief Executive Officer for Tanzania Port Authority who mismanaged government funds.
Today, 1 April, 2021 Madam president has also made an important role in a process to make her office goes smoothly.
The president has made a cabinet reshuffle as there were some gaps to be filled.
The only new face in the cabinet is Honourable Mwigulu Nchemba who has now been hired as the Minister of Finance from being Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.
Honourable Liberata Mulamula now Minister of Foreign Affairs replacing professor Palamagamba Kabudi.
Dr Mpango Vice president and his previous Ministry filled by Honourable Ummy Mwalimu in the Office of the State Vice president and Local Government and Reginal Administration.
Honourable Jafo Selemani is now Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.
In her speech her Excellency Madam Samia Suluhu Hassan said that I only wanted to fill and shift wherever necessary not a mind of overhauling the whole cabinet.
She has also warned the Ministers to work hard in their respective offices and avoid abusing offices and should also avoid misusing government funds and she will not tolerate.
