| People Mourning the Late President John Pombe Magufuli |
It was on 17 March, 2021 around evening hours when the bad news broke out about the death of late President John Pombe Magufuli.
Every received the news with sour faces as it was contrary to their expectations.
Yesterday on 30 March, 2021 the National Police Headquarters of Tanzania have confirmed that 45 people died during the mourning and burial period.
The reports say, there was another family that lost 5 children and one family member on the burial day. Another man lost his wife, two children, niece and a nephew on the day their was ceremony at the Stadium.
Police says, the deaths and most people injured when they broke into the stadium through unauthorized entrance which resulted in a stamped that killed them.
The most deaths occurred in Mwanza Region where the burial ceremony took place and also few in Darsalam City.
As Tanzania continue mourning their president, the Vice president who was sworn in office on 19 March has started her duties.
President Samia after attaining Office she has suspended and arrested Chief Executive Officer of Tanzania Port Authority who misused government Money Worth 4.5 Billions Shillings which is equivalent to about $1.2 Millions.
Tanzania is still peacefully despite many civil wars from neighboring country Mozambique.
