Some people have no place to stay whilst others have enough land to play with. This happens due to various like Civil Wars, and Political issues.
Wars have displaced many people and some of them are found in Malawi from countries like DR Congo, Burundi, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Mozambique due to wars.
In Malawi the Ministry of Homeland Security which is responsible for enforcing the laws of the land and making sure the neighborhood is safe to live in has issued an order that the all Refugees and Asylum Seekers should vacate from all the towns and cities of the country.
The order comes in after many reports about people who came as Refugees and asylums flocked to the cities and towns of Malawi to do Businesses and some searching for employment opportunities and other factors.
Most citizens of Malawi complained that the refugees Community took over all their businesses and also they were found all the places including in the villages.
The Spokesman for Ministry of Homeland Security confirmed the development to our Correspondant who is based in Lilongwe, Malawi.
“The policy do allow the refugees and asylum seekers to be free doing businesses within their Refugee camp and not anywhere else”, said Mr Andrew Nyondo.
Nyondo continued saying that the Refugees and asylums are given a period 14 days to return to their Camp in Dzaleka which is located in Dowa District of the country. The days are with effect from 1 April, 2021.
He also said that if these people fail to return to the camp after the days given Malawi Government will use necessary forces to find them and send them to Camp.

Malawi has approximate number of 100, 000 Refugees and Asylum Seekers who are scattered all over the country.
