Last week was a day the Tanzania’s Electoral Commission (TEC) when it announced that the campaign period was launched in preparation for the Elections to be held on 28 October, 2020 where President and members of Parliament will be voted.
President John Pombe Magufuli launched his campaign tour in Dodoma Region as he seeks a second term in the highest office of presidency.
President Magufuli was voted into his position in 2015 on the same date of 28 October.
Tanzania has seen many developmental activities under his leadership since he rose into power.
During his launch he promised that he ha planned Business Loans for the small vendors in order to grow their businesses.
“I will bring electricity to all rulal areas when elected again” said Magufuli.
To some individuals lamented that it’s their wish for President Magufuli to win the elections because when he promises he does.
Tanzania is one of the countries that are fast growing in East Africa and Africa as it is heavily developing infrastructuraly.
The campaign has started with high good mood as there no fightings and collisions during rallies.
President Magufuli will face Tende Lissu and Bernard Membe of Chama Cha Mapenduzi (CCM) comes 28 October this year.
