On Friday 14 August, 2020 Ant-Corruption Bereau of Malawi have frozen the bank accounts of the former president Professor A Mutharika.
The Director General of ACB Reyneck Matemba confirmed this with Zodiak.
All other people their accounts frozen are Former First Lady Madam Getrude Mutharika, Mr Norman Chisale personal Body Guard to President Mutharika and Roza Mbilizi former Deputy Director General of Malawi Revenue Authority.
ACB says the accounts are frozen in relation to corruption and money laudering cases which are on going in Courts of Malawi.
