| Violet Chakwera a daughter to Malawian president who is sent to Diplomatic office in UK |
They were just mere rumours in 2021 when people questioned the Malawi Incumbent president Razarus Chakwera on the basis of sending his daughter to Belgium as a Diplomat.
The president was furious about the whole issue and it’s Press Secretary lost his job in the process. Mr Brian one time during presidential weekly updates on 29 July 2021 announced that Violet Chakwera a daughter to the president was on the list to represent Malawi in Belgium.
It was also aired on BBC straight talk. The cheating president denied it and he said it can never happen as country is never run in that way.
Today 7 January, 2022 African News Site can confirm that the rumours are now true and fulfilled. Tye daughter in question has now reported at United Kingdom Embassy office as Secretary for Tourism to the Ambassador.
The Spokesperson for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Luckie Sikwese confirmed the development to our Lilongwe based Correspondent.
In his statement, Sikwese said, Violet Chakwera has already gone and reported at UK embassy.
“She did her Interviews and passed regardless of her status she is equally qualified as to anyone for that position,” continued Luckie Sikwese.
Various steak holders have spoken at this as not abiding by the rule of law of the country.
Other sectors have voiced out that the president is testing the tempers of the people because during campaign he promised to end nepotism but he is not doing what he preached.
Other Human Rights organizations are yet to comment on that matter as also Malawi is already dying due to the expensive living standard.
