Former President and and Malawi Current President meeting during Christmas box
It was like a dream to the family of Mutharikas and the entire Malawi as the incumbent President Dr Lazarus M Chakwera paid a surprise visit to Professor Peter Mutharika’s home in Mangochi where he is retiring.
The President’s visit was part of cheering up the former Malawian Leader as the world is celebrating Christmas.
Before visiting Mutharika’s house the president on Christmas day visited Mangochi District Hospital.
Many commentators have commended the behavior the incumbent President has shown to the world and this one time world historic action taken by the ruling president to visit the predecessor.
