It was on 6 February, 2021, a day full of joy in the house of Reverend Thomson John Chipeta as he walked out of the hospital Covid-19 free.
The reports that we got through online call from the Mr Shingai Chipeta a grandson to the Reverend said that it was on 14 January, 2021 when his granny got sick and he was tested he was found positive for Convid-19 pandemic.
He was placed on Isolation and later he was admitted at Mchinji District Hospital. He has been in the hospital for about three weeks and has been discharged yesterday (Saturday) afternoon.
Reverend Thomson John Chipeta who is now 92 years is a retired Pastor for Church of Central African Presbyterian (CCAP) in Malawi under Nkhoma Synod.
Reverend Chipeta is also a Principal and Founder of Home of Hope Orphanage care based in Mchinji District.
This orphanage is most known in Malawi because it’s where the Famous Pop Star Maddona adopted David Banda and twins who are currently staying with her in Portugal in Europe.
This news has set a very good example to the people across the globe that once you follow all medical instructions, Covid-19 is curable.
